Programs and Eligibility

 Principal Reduction

For borrowers who have suffered an eligible financial hardship and owe more than their home is worth.

Financial assistance to help pay down the principal balance of a mortgage loan and allow for a more affordable monthly payment.

 Unemployment Mortgage Assistance

For borrowers who have suffered a loss of income due to unemployment or underemployment.

Provides mortgage payment assistance to cover principal, interest, and escrowed HOA dues for up to 18 months.

Mortgage Reinstatement Assistance

For borrowers who were previously unemployed and are now employed or underemployed and whose primary mortgage is delinquent.

Reinstatement assistance to bring the borrower's primary mortgage current.

Income Limits

  • Not available to homeowners who own more than one home or who do not occupy the property.
  • You must be a full-time resident of Nevada, and the property must be located in Nevada.
  • Not available to homeowners in an active bankruptcy.
  • If your property is a manufactured home, it must have been converted to real property to be considered potentially eligible for assistance.
  • Programs are only available to U.S. citizens or legal U.S. residents.
